A New Generation of Fabric

Zorb 3D was designed to be even more absorbent than its predecessors. The larger diamonds and thicker weight contribute to its increased holding capacity. It retains, holds, and distributes moisture without leaking under compression.

There’s no need to prewash or dry your fabric to activate the absorbency. It absorbs ten times its weight in not even two seconds and soaks up 20 times faster than bamboo, cotton, or hemp knits.

One side of our fabric is made of absorbent bamboo cotton, while the other is polyester with thirsty Zorb 3D fibers in between. It’s the polyester side that wicks up all the moisture, so it's best used against the skin.

Our SILVADUR Antimicrobial withstands bacteria, fungi, and algae while acting as an antiperspirant and keeping the fabric fresh. We’re proud to keep toxic, harmful chemicals out of our products, and SILVADUR is no exception.

We also care about your skin, so we tested SILVADUR on bamboo, cotton, and hemp knits. We applied ten times the recommended amount to be extra cautious and found no sensitivity on the skin.

Our 3D Diamond Silver Fabric takes just two layers to do the job of eight flannel, six french terry, and five fleece layers. Need a super-duper-absorbent product? Important Note about UPF Ratings:
Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin. For example, a UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 % of the sun’s rays and allows 2% (1/50th) to penetrate, thus reducing your exposure risk significantly. A UPF 30 fabric blocks 97% of UV rays and allows roughly 3% of UV transmission. UPF 15 indicates that the fabric blocks roughly 93% of UV rays and allows about 7% of available UV radiation to pass through.

Important Note about Absorbency in 3D & 4D Zorb fabrics:
These fabrics are designed to be absorbent and made without the use of any chemicals during manufacturing. Our Ready-AbZorb process helps eliminate the need for pre-washing for absorption and also reduces the shrinkage. However the fabrics are made in large batch sizes on industrial machines and sometimes the fabric may not absorb as desired from when you receive it, or sometimes after cutting and sewing. In such cases, we recommend running the fabric through a hot wash and medium dry cycle; this will help remove any handling residues and activate the super absorbent fibers that might have been affected by handling.
